Rose Philipzen

President - dairy farmer

An integral role as Head of People and Culture at Moxey Farms in Gooloogong in NSW, Rose has grown up with dairy in her blood and a long-standing member of the dairy industry. She has been a member of the Board since 2018, sits on the ADC Executive and is ADC’s first female President representative taking on the role in February 2024.

David Nation

Scientific Director

David Nation joined the ADC Board in 2025 as he transitioned from Managing Director at Dairy Australia. David brings a wealth of experience and knowledge being at the helm of the national industry body and with background across scientific dairy research and extension.

Paul Roderick

Queensland representative, Paul Roderick has operated his family dairy farm at Harriville in south east Queensland for the last 27 years. He has been involved in all facets of dairy and is active in advocacy, research, development and extension roles as well with Dairy Australia. He has been on the ADC Board since 2017 and currently sites on the ADC Executive.

Brendan Hehir

Operating an organic dairy farm in Wyuna, Victoria, Brendan is no stranger to ADC with his father one of the founding members, pioneering the way forward for others. Brendan has followed in his father’s footsteps as a Programming Chair (2020) and now ADC Board member.

Michael Rood

Michael aka Roody along with his partner Ashleigh operate and run Whitegold Holsteins and Jerseys based in the Hunter Valley in New South Wales. They milk 300 head of Holstein and Jerseys all year round and have aspirations to continue to grow wealth through agriculture. Michael has a rich dairy background and has been involved in the industry in a variety of leadership roles over the years and has always been a very active member in progressing industry issues.

Liza Fahey

Liza has a long-standing industry connection as dairy farmer in Terang, nmilking 450 Ayrshire cattle on the family farm, and Project Officer for WestVic dairy ensuring she is across pivotal issues facing the industry and in Western Victoria. She has been a Board member of ADC since 2014.

Monique Bryant

Monique is a progressive and established third generation dairy farmer operating her family farm with husband Mark at Kaarimba in Victoria’s northern dairy region and was a member of the 2024 Programming Committee and 2025 Programming Chair.

Joanne Bills

Industry Director

Joanne is Director of Global Insights with US-based Ever.Ag and represents industry services on the ADC Board. Jo is an agribusiness professional with almost two decades involved in dairy with a strength in market and industry analysis and communication. She joined the ADC Board in 2019

Ashlee Gardiner

Dairy Australia Director

Ashlee has held a number of influential industry roles including in policy and executive positions for the Victorian Farmers Federation before joining Dairy Australia as Issues Manager and Stakeholder Engagement. She has been on the ADC Board since 2023.
