What an incredible evening to gather and celebrate the best in Australian dairy. The night was memorable and inspiring as we applauded and recognised outstanding achievement and contributions to ADC as well as crowning the 2025 Innovator Award winner.

Australian singer-songwriter John Schumann held a captivated audience with his oration and performance of 'I was only 19' in a stirring rendition that led to a standing ovation from the 650 strong audience in a moment etched forever in the history of the Australian Dairy Conference.

Truly a night to remember at ADC 2025 Gold Coast.

Carlene, a celebrated dairy journalist and editor of The Australian Dairyfarmer, has been an integral member of the ADC Programming Committee for the last 15 years lending her insights, wisdom and connections to help forge the content, topics and discussions brought to fruition each year.

ADC is very grateful for Carlene's immense contribution over many years leaving very big shoes to fill! Carlene was recognised at the ADC Gala Dinner with a heartfelt message by ADC producer and close colleague Esther Price.

Carlene thank you for your legacy and involvement and know you are forever part of the ADC family and community.

It may have been raining but that did not dampen t

It may have been raining but that did not dampen the spirits of dairy industry members as they tuned out in force for the inaugural ADC Morning Milk Run!

Sponsored by the Bega Group there were cows on the beach, dairy goodies, former AFL players and lots of positivity as a strong running/walking group met the sun at 5.30am for a run and stroll along the GC beach.

Our MC Kimberley Busteed led from the front and a big special thanks to Tom and Cynthia Brooks for bringing Lucy & Macey along to lead the swarm of eager enthusiasts!! And thanks to Bega Group for sponsoring the initiative!

There were smiles and good spirit as a great way to start the ADC day!

Rethinking farm transition was part of discussion including panellist Jen Stolp, originally from New Zealand and now share-farming in South Australia.

Jen highlighted opportunities in dairy via the share-farming path along with the importance of connecting with like-minded people at ADC... along with the need for some time out from milking and the kids!

In true Gold Coast style we welcomed delegates to ADC 2025 Gold Coast with beach tote and hat in hand!

The ADC Welcome Function sponsored by @Fonterra.oceania was indeed 'humming' as members of the Australian dairy industry were reunited, introduced and connected amongst the beach umbrellas and deck chairs.

A smorgasbord of cheese, conversation and an introduction to our ADC MC Queenslander Kimberley Busteed was the perfect backdrop for Fonterra's Matt Watt to welcome everyone for the days ahead!

The evening ended in true Queensland fashion with a monsoonal downpour which didn't dispel the energy and vibe that kicked off Australia's premier dairy event!!!

Congratulations to Grant Rogers from Tasmania taking out the 2025 ADC Innovator Award at ADC 2025.

Grant was announced as the winner last night at the Australian Dairy Conference Gala Dinner on the Gold Coast as 650 industry members gathered to celebrate the Australian dairy industry.

Grant introduced his Knowby Platform to Australian Dairy Conference delegates yesterday helping improve communication doing everyday simple farm tasks and receives $3,000 travel bursary to assist ongoing professional development in his chosen field.

Thanks to Gardiner Foundation for their support of the ADC Innovators Award.
