Australia’s premier dairy event is milking it up

Australia’s premier dairy event is milking it up on the Gold Coast in February next year with Victorian dairy farmer Monique Bryant appointed to lead the 2025 Programming Committee.

Planning is already in full swing as ADC gets ready for sun, sand and soaking up all things dairy on the Gold Coast 12-14 February 2025.

Monique is a progressive and established dairy farmer operating her family farm with husband Mark at Kaarimba in Victoria’s northern dairy region and was a member of the 2024 Programming Committee.

Monique is looking forward to the role: “ADC has a reputation for raising the bar each year regarding content, speakers and the delegate experience and I am honoured to lead the Programming Committee for Gold Coast 2025. We aim to strive high and think differently as we curate Australia’s premier dairy event”.

ADC is milking it on the the GC in 2025!!

Australia’s premier dairy event is heading north to the Gold Coast as ADC 2025 will be held from 12-14 February 2025 at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Dairy farmers can pack the bathers, the family and head to one of Australia’s most iconic stretches of sand for an ADC with a different feel.

With the usual expectations of a program brimming with the latest to inspire, compel and challenge, ADC will also bring some pizzazz, GC vibes and chill to the 2025 gig.

ADC has appointed it's first female President in N

ADC has appointed it's first female President in New South Wales dairy farmer Rose Philipzen.

Rose, hailing from a rich dairy background and upbringing with the family-run Moxey Farms, is currently the Head of People & Culture for Australian Fresh Milk Holdings (AFMH) based out of Orange, New South Wales.

“If you have been to ADC then you know it’s like joining a family. This is what attracts people back every year and as part of that family, the ADC Board is a really progressive farmer-driven organisation that I am excited to lead,” said Rose.

“At ADC we get to be bold, we get to be provocative and we are here to place our industry in the best possible position to succeed and flourish,” said Rose.

We welcome Rose to the role and thank outgoing President Tom Acocks who remains on the ADC Board.

Congratulations to the 2024 ADC Young Dairy Scientist winner Laura Jensen who is currently extending her studies and research with Dairy Bio.

Laura is researching how to identify and reduce heat stress in cows at La Trobe University. Past recipients of this award have gone on to forge stellar careers and we wish her all the best.
